"My father in law was here for 2 weeks in IMCU on the 4th floor. My husband and I visited twice a day and saw the healing that occurred while he was there. The entire staff was wonderful. The nurses and techs cared for him like he was their own. The nurse manager was never afraid to throw on some gloves and help. The dietary staff listened to what my FIL liked to eat and drink and made sure he had it every time. The housekeeping ladies were sweet and the manager checked in with us multiple times to make sure the room was being cleaned to our liking. Dr Effinger took care in making sure my FIL was being treated for many ailments and that he went to Westminster for his rehabilitation, on our request. By the end of the 2 week stay, my husband and I felt like the staff on this floor was family. It was the best hospital experience anyone could hope for."

"Most staff such as techs and CNAs are pleasant and try their best. I cannot say the same for the Doctors. They do not listen to you as to what brought you in at all. The budget has been cut by this company so much that the staff is overwhelmed and rude at times. The food is not edible. The Doctors speak down to you. HCA has one of the worst reputations in the country. Having the administration stand for a portrait for the Lobby was disgusting when everything around them is falling apart. I just called and asked a simple question and the staff member was so rude and unhelpful. I cannot say anything good about this hospital except it should close down and start over."

"Was seen in te Southwood freestanding ERtezterdsy for chronic kidney stone issues and was accused by Dr. Satana as being there with drug seeking behavior. I left AMA only after they tried 6 times with the ultrasound and couldn’t get blood or good flow from my IV site. I never asked for Dilaudid as said in the er physicians note. I would’ve taken anything had they been able to get an IV started. This has never happened to me , but after being used as a human pin cushion I told the nurse trying to get the iv started that I wanted to leave. I’m so tired of doctors making assumptions without actually talking to the patient I will I love this hospital and staff but I will not be seen by 2 of your ER physicians again. And will walk out if assigned to them. . They don’t listen and aren’t compassionate to their patients. I’m a patient with many chronic illnesses and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. Neither of those things was afforded to me during my visits yesterday. The only physicians youhaveon staff that give a damn about their patients are Dr. Martin and Dr. Spurlock. Yes, I’m there a lot for my kidney issues but I only have 1 and try to take the best care I can of it, but I just get judged as soon as I walk in the door. I will be filing a complaint with the AMA."

"I had my baby here 11/17 and was treated with nothing but care and compassion. The L&D room was better than anything I could asked for. The nurses were energetic and and happy to be there. They really made my labor and birth a great experience. 15/10 thank you guys so much!!!"

"Highly disappointed with the level of care performed. A Family member of mine has been hospitalized for over a month. Spending a little over 1 week in ICU. After complaining of how the nurse Mary (ICU NURSE) removed her tubing and left her in excruciating pain. Exactly 1 month later she began to choke and gag on a piece of tape from the tubing. Not sure how that was possible but her nurse agreed that it was possible. She now has a bed sore on the back of her head. Which I reported last week and nothing has been done. Skin seems to only get moisture whenever myself of family member does it. I’ve reached out to nursing coordinator and nothing seems to help! I’m in fear of losing her to carelessness. Prayers that this nightmare will end soon!"
