"Was switched to this program at the end of October when found ineligible for medicaid. I have had nothing but problems for the last 2 months. Paid my premium for 2 children when the bill was received, they credited my son's account twice (running a month behind) and left my daughter without insurance. Call, think it's resolved, both kids good to go for November. My son's PCP was changed so when I tried to schedule him for a sick visit he couldn't go...had to pay out of pocket for urgent care. December rolls around, have had to rescheduled my daughter for a checkup she couldnt go to in November due to their "mix up" and find that they mistakenly cancelled her policy on Nov. 28th (and again credited the payment to my son - they have him paid through January and my daughter with no coverage. Found out Friday that without my knowledge or consent they change my son to Humana which isn't accepted by his pediatrician. So for the rest of the month my daughter has no coverage and my son has insurance that can't be used by his doctors office). I don't understand why I'm paying nearly $500.00 per month to have to call and fix something EVERY MONTH."

"Just started with them and already having nothing but issues. I received all the initial paperwork for them during the last week of October. I made the first payment on October 30th which cleared my bank on November 1st. I received back to back calls every day stating that my payment was late? How? When we just started using your insurance? When I called them to find out what was going on, I was told by one of their reps that the payment I made that cleared on November 1st was for October 1st. How can that be when we didn't start coverage yet? Then they demanded another payment even though I already made a payment. I paid them yet again on November 22nd and here we are today it's December 5th and they're calling me asking for more money. They've been nothing but an issue and a headache from day one. I wish I didn't need to use them for my child."

"Is this insurance a joke? I am forever getting calls about how my insurance is canceled, and they haven't received my payment but I make payments and get confirmation numbers."

"I'm from Virginia and recently arrived in Florida. I would give Florida Kid Care zero stars if I could. Terrible experience dealing with these guys. Most poorly run organization I have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs."

"I was not notified until end of March that my daughter’s coverage was pending for April. In fact I called to pay for April and it said I had $0.00 balance. I spoke to someone and they said it’s because her plan changed due to her turning 5 and they needed proof that she didn’t have insurance. This was March 25th. They said I need to send it in. I did but wondered if she would be covered for April and they said yes if I get the proof in quick enough. After 7 days I then call and they say she isn’t covered because they need proof of income for me. So I asked to speak to a supervisor because they said she wouldn’t be covered even if I sent the paperwork in right away because it takes 7-10 business days to review it. Well, supervisor calls and says she would call me back. Never did. My daughter hit her head and needed Staples. Now I’m left with a $1400 bill because of it all. I have Tried calling about this bill being covered since this was not my fault and have yet to here back from a supervisor like I have asked for."
