"If I could rate this place a -10 I would. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT send a loved one here. They treated my 86 year old incapacitated mother HORRIBLY. She did nothing but get verbally abused and neglected. She still has the same staples she had when they did her surgery over two months ago! I made several complaints to the director of nursing and to the hospital administrator, and instead of correcting their issues, they decided it was time to “get rid” of the problem and started discharge procedures. She just went through major surgery, and cannot stand or walk in her own and they were going to release her home with no plan for home care. I got her into a sub-acute rehab, where they are treating her better but they are ill-equipped to deal with her she wasn’t quite ready for rehab. However, I was genuinely afraid for her safety. Bottom line, they are there for the money, not to help patients. Trust me on this! Next step, complaint to the medical board."
"Understaffed. The people are nice by nature, but everyone is exhausted. I saw multiple occasions where nurses had to give up their time off due to the understaffed place. I truly do wish management seriously considers expanding their team. Due to this, it takes anywhere from 10-40 minutes for the team to respond depending on the urgency and staffing."
"My brother was a patient at Columbus Specialty Hospital after being hit with covid and being on a ventilator. The staff were great. They took great care of him and us. Rob was the best nurse he could of had. Thank you to all the staff at CHS for your care and compassion."
"This hospital needs to be shut down! The staff is horrible(majority of them) My brother is there now. Everytime I go there he smells like booboo! They don’t put sheets over the entire bed and all the sheets has stains on them. They put me out the hospital and banned me from there when I’m from Atlanta and ride 2 hours to go see my brother! They’re NOT taking good care of him nor the other patients. They mixed my brother up with another patient and gave me wrong info! The case manager Tuhkeisha is horrible at her job! The doctor Dr Harden is nonchalant and have no sympathy for the patients! I hate my mom let my brother go to this nasty place! Shut the hospital down!!!!"
"Terrible place to send your loved ones if you can’t check in on them physically EVERY DAY!! The majority of the nursing staff has no compassion and poor bedside manner. The best nurses they have are Mrs. Linda & Rachel. They treated my fiancé with such love & care. The wound nurse has a TERRIBLE attitude. You have to go through hell and high waters to get any information concerning your loved ones plan of care. The nurses never know anything you ask them and respiratory was a joke. The doctors had no compassion & also had poor bedside manner. My fiancé passed away and we heard nothing from the facility after his passing. I went by to pick up his things and they already had it all packed up and did not offer their condolences or anything. His techs Braya & Octavia were THE BEST!! The communication between staff here is also very poor. I don’t feel like they did anything to try and help my fiancé get better! Don’t go here unless you just want your family member to be treated like they are nothing more than a vegetable. Not to mention how many times they called him the wrong name and would just come to the bedside and not even try to talk to him. Our whole month here was TERRIBLE!!"
