"My daughter was very sick. We came and she had a very high fever, had to wait in the waiting room for several hours with no meds and finally we they took us back, they did not do any tests on her. They simply had the doctor come in and said everyone had the same symptoms and gave her some Tylenol and sent us home. If I wanted to not know what was wrong I would have stayed home. Horrible experience and I will never come here again."
"I just had the best experience in the Emergency Room there yesterday walked in and front desk lady was amazing . She was already stressed with a bomb threat before we walked in a few hrs earlier .But she helped me as quickly as possible she was great continue to service with the care as you gave to me and to others god bless . I have a 2 nd degree burn (both arms) and literally was taken in right away the ER tech amazing. He did my vitals and took me in right away .And the professionalism and care continued with my nurse Keisha and other young lady don't recall her name. They were fabulous. IV in quick and cared for me with grate and caring as they should be. Also Dr was very nice . I'm just thankful I had a great experience there . I thought kindness was gone in ppl as America is angry at the world. I'm thankful these great medical workers came my way and took care of me. Please keep great medical workers like this . I so appreciate the kindness and care. Great experience ❤️"
"I wouldn't go back to this hospital if was was dying. The nurses are cruel, the hospital is filthy, and the food was inedible. I came home after 4 days with my arms purple and the nurse actually said "we like our patients to leave with a memento of their stay". If that was supposed to be funny, it wasn't. They refused my medications and never gave me a sponge bath. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this hospital or staff."
"Two words to describe my experience with Wellstar Cobb Hospital would be horrible and stressful and I am just being nice with those words because there is more words I can use to describe my experience. I also want to say that several HIPPA laws were broken. My Mom had to stay here for about a week or so and during her stay we were getting second hand knowledge/information about her care and no one was communicating to us about her care until we actually mentioned something to the care coordinator about it only for them to still continue to contact us at the wrong numbers. The communication was horrible with the doctor, the nurses and the care coordinators. No one was doing their jobs and actually listening to our concerns. She was discharged and it took her about a day to get transported and they gave us a time only for it to be a different time and we had to call them to get that information. I feel as though they rushed my Mom out of the hospital because they needed the beds for other patients and then they kind of throw you to the wolves after that. My Mom could not speak for herself and because we were not aware of anything that was happening during this time we were not able to speak up for her. The reason for my review is for me to speak up and letting you all know that my experience was horrible and I am so disgusted with them right now I could scream. This whole ordeal has been stressful to my sister and I and having to deal with this makes it all that much worse. Shame on you Wellstar Cobb Hospital!!!!! My sister and I are are very disgusted and disappointed in your care for your patients and families."
"Don't go here if you can help it! Facility is old, outdated and not up to today's standards. ER dept is very slow in so many ways. Equipment is lacking. Once admitted, most of the staff is very friendly and nice, but overnight crew is extremely inconsiderate, noisy and very unprofessional! It was pretty impossible to get any sleep listening to their loud personal conversations outside Mom's room. It's like they were having a party out there. I didn't want to complain for fear that her care would be effected! Docs act like they don't really know what they're doing. How do you try to discharge an 80+ y.o. person with limited mobility, who's been bedridden for a week and do NO PT/OT until asked by patients caregiver?! Rooms are TINY and uncomfortable (she was there 7 days. It needs an overhaul and I'm sure they don't have the money for that, so I will do my best to NOT go there again!"
