"Cashew is an artsy-feel jewel tucked away by Coolidge Park. I love the funky feel of the decor and absolutely love the menu. My favorite is the beet burger, which I default to almost every visit. Beefy (without the beef) and filling. It’s a great option. Our table server recommended the garlicky kale as a side and it was amazing. I really want that recipe! The other dish at our table were the nachos, which did not disappoint. He said he would order those again. Note - everything is vegan and it is Anne Ellen’s place to try out or discover new ways to enjoy eating vegan. It’s certainly not boring or bland. You will find lots of variety and flavors here. Don’t miss the desserts and donuts! I have sampled a cookie before and have a friend who loves the donuts. Those are on my list for next time. Check it out- it’s one of Chattanoogas jewels."

"We are at Cashew about a week ago. We ordered a Philly cheese steak with salad, chorizo burrito with chili mac. Both were tasty but I think the Philly cheese steak was the best. Cashew is now on our list of favorite restaurants."

"We were in Chattanooga for 5 days, We went to Cashew 3 times. 1st visit - hubby had the shrimp taco special with a side of chicken rice soup while I had jackfruit nachos. Shrimp and the nachos were delicious. I see why the nachos are a popular dish. I couldn't stop eating them. The soup was the best we've ever had. 2nd visit - Hubby had the chicken salad wrap with a side Thai Sweet Potato. I had the jackfruit tacos & a side of Mac & Cheese. They were all delicious. The best Mac & Cheese I ever had. The jackfruit tacos were out of this world. The chicken salad wrap was so good that we're going back tomorrow for more. 3rd visit we got the Thai Sweet Potato and the Mac & Cheese. Cashew didn't disappoint! Service was excellent at every visit. The atmosphere was so inviting. Too full for dessert, but they looked awesome."
