"Sat at the bar with a friend on Monday night, and had wonderful service from Justine. She was an absolutely great bartender and so much fun. We shared lobster Lebeaux and Nowak's shrimp appetizers and they were fantastic with wonderful French bread from Nola."

"We were excited to try out this new restaurant. Ambience is ok. It was very quiet for a Saturday night- only one other table of guests. Decorated for the Christmas season but no Hanukkah decorations at all. Appetizers were recommend by the waiter- blue cheese chips and Jenny’s salad. Chips were literally over fried with melted blue cheese poured on top. Nothing special. Salad was odd- lacked any taste. I ordered salmon- it was over cooked (not medium rare), burned on top, and served with fried potatoes. Steaks were below average. Sides which came with steaks were underwhelming. Everything on the menu was much more expensive than what is stated on the online menu. Husband wanted the burger (which we’ve seen advertised on social media many times ) but it’s not on the menu and not available. Very disappointing! Was hoping to find a gem of a neighborhood restaurant but this restaurant didn’t live up to the hype. Below average food. I did take the time to discuss with the executive che/owner who was filling in for his regular chef for the holidays but not sure there will be any future changes. He did admit that the salmon dish wasn’t what he thought was correct either but he served it anyway and charged me regardless! This restaurant will need to improve in order to survive the strip mall location."

"I went to Nowak's last Friday night and the meal was fantastic. I've been to every high end steak house in Atlanta (from Chops to Little Alley) and I would put Nowak's filet against any of them. The service was great and the owner himself came over to ask how the meal tasted. Definitely a great addition to Sandy Springs. I think I've found my new favorite place. A+"
