"I wanted to love this place so badly. Smelled great when I walked in. But the food is bland at best. The cornbread was excellent and so were the yams, but everything else seriously lacked flavor. Nothing has salt or pepper in it. I've been cooking soul food over 30 years and wanted to get in the kitchen to teach the cooks some things. This soul food needed major love to sing. Hopefully they get it together. For the price point I expect it to taste like my grandmother made it. I'm so sorry, but this is NOT it!"

"So I ordered the rib tips which looking at the saucy they were swimming in I should changed my mind. First off the rib tips were so spicy and I couldn’t even eat them. I’ve never had my rib tips this saucy, I’m pissed because I always enjoy the rib tips. The gentleman that helped me was so militant you know didn’t even get a welcoming vibe. The owners need to send in a secret shopper because this is not it. This is by far the worst location."

"It's a Atlanta Rib Shack that serves the biggest BeefRibs you ever seen. The characters are friendly with that Southern Hospitality. I couldn't eat it all.....Just the way it should be."

"We went at the suggestion of a coworker. The employee at the front was fixing plates when we walked in; and even though we stood at the register for several minutes, he didn't acknowledge us. We finally were able to place our orders (1) bbq glazed salmon with green beans and lima beans and (2) brisket (in bbq sauce) with macaroni and greens. We ordered plates to go, got back home, and realized they put the wrong sides on the wrong plates. So the macaroni and greens were on the salmon plate, and the green beans and lima beans were on the brisket plate. None of the meats had any bbq sauce on it. Not big portion sizes at all. The amount of food doesn't equal what is being charged - brisket plate $25, salmon plate $20, no drinks or desserts. And unfortunately, the sides were alright but neither meat was seasoned. Needless to say, we were both disappointed, don't plan on visiting again, and wouldn't recommend."

"This location doesn’t live up to the franchise standard. All of the food was greasy—the rib tips, the rice, and the cabbage. The banana pudding was underwhelming. The bananas were old & brown and there was hardly any of the marshmallow topping on it. The cup of baked beans looked more like a cup of chili and was also greasy. I’m not sure who the cook is at this location but y’all should consider replacing them. For whatever reason, the cook has confused soul food with greasy, fast food with no flavor. The only good things were the cornbread and the drink. I’d rather drive an hour to the Camp Creek location."
