"Ribeye steak was cold and raw had to send it back. Then my eggs got cold while waiting on the second cooking of the steak. The place smelt like old grease and was not clean. Service was not good at all. Also you know it's bad when the owner brings his own food in. That should have been our sign to leave."

"I refuse to go back after watching my daughter nearly choke to death on raw bacon. While she's cooking the staff just stands there watching me pull the bacon out of her throat. Never once asked is she okay or anything. Asked for it to be cooked longer because it was literally mushy. I was told no that's how it comes. The grits had lumps in them, the toast was burnt, the man who "runs" this place is rude. There was no one else there so it's not like they were too busy to help."

"Was a relatively busy night but not too busy. Was almost full. Service was not very good. Only one server on the floor and the cooks were very slow. We (3 people) were there for just over 1 hour waiting for someone to take our drink and food order and then 2 more hours waiting for our food (hash bowl and two chicken finger plates) Wasn’t the server’s fault. She was very nice and was working very hard but was overwhelmed with serving the entire restaurant. Very poor management and the food wasn’t really worth waiting 3 hours for."

"This was my first time visiting Three Squares. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful; however, the chef and manager need additional training on hospitality and food service. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely empty and the chef was sitting in a car outside. When the waitress went out to let her know a customer was waiting, she took her sweet time and continued her conversation for a another minute or so. When she did come in, she reached for gloves without washing her hands. When I said something about it, she said she washed her hands earlier and hadn't touched anything. I asked for a refund and it took 10 minutes between the 2 employees to get a manager on the phone. When she did, the manager said I would need to come back in the morning. I made it clear that wasn't going to work and eventually got my money back and went to Waffle House."

"The manager chewing out the waitresses because of what the customers were requesting in front of the customers, stating "He was the Manager and the waitresses were just employees! Burnt toast with every order! He was scraping the black off the toast! My pork chop was raw ,food was cold! The only positive experience was the waitresses! On our way out another couple was having similar complaints and vowed to never return as long as that manager was there! My wife and I won't be returning either!"
