"I'm a little surprised to see so many negative reviews, so I feel compelled to share my experience. I had an MRI done in February of 2024 and everybody was kind, professional, and I was in and out within an hour. I'm taking off 1-star because it would've been nice for headphones to be available during the MRI to listen to music. I read that other locations offer this instead of just providing ear plugs. Everything else was great!"

"My experience at this center for a sonogram checkup was extremely disappointing. It was frustrating from the start, as it took multiple visits and phone calls just to schedule an appointment. The misinformation regarding the copay was particularly troubling—I confirmed twice with them about the amount I needed to pay, and they assured me that my insurance would cover everything. However, two months later, I received a bill that contradicted their assurances. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the manager via email, phone, and in-person visits, I received no apology or resolution. This lack of accountability and disregard for my time is unacceptable. I strongly advise against choosing this center for any medical needs—they simply don't prioritize customer satisfaction."

"I knew this place would be trouble when they tried to schedule my MRI appointment and make me self-pay without going through the proper channels. When I asked why the insurance did not approve, they didn’t know. I immediately declined to make the appointment and consulted with my insurance company. I was told that OPI did not send over the necessary paperwork to get it approved. Yet you want me to self pay? Not only that, they called again after I had denied the appointment. I did not call them back until the insurance ok’d it. I finally set up the appointment and I’m receiving text reminders. The first reminder said 8:30 am but I was told my appointment was at 8:00 am. It was a little confusing. Later, they sent me a text with the correct time. On the day of my appointment, the receptionist had such an attitude, from the moment I walked into the door. I knew my service would not be great off the bat. She wanted me to pay $584 before even receiving the service. They send texts asking for pre-payment.. This is not a small amount and there is no explanation of benefits. Although I could have paid it, I walked out because I did not like the service…and I told the lady that I didn’t understand why she had such an attitude.. I will keep dealing with my pain and find another provider. I would not recommend this place. I hope the doors close."

"The receptionist forgot about the second half of her industry - care. Healthcare. While hacking up a lung trying to get an X-ray on my 45th birthday, she gave me a hard time for agreeing to the hour wait. All I ask is that she pretends to care about patients. I went to their Howell Mill location and had much better service."

"BE AWARE the address they list will take you to the Shepherd Center. This caused me to be 10 minutes late for my appointment!! The staff are the most uncaring employees I've ever seen in the medical field! They would not see me and didn't care it took me 25 extra because of the GPS error. Typical road work, construction around the Shepherd center. The last time I was here, one patient left in tears because of their rudeness to her! To get to their location without going to the wrong direction, type in OPI Peachtree St. You would think this would be mentioned in their email to warn patients. The receptionist says it happens all the time!!!"
