"I checked this place out for the first time today and it definitely did not disappoint!! I ordered the Connecticut roll and it was so buttery and warm. There was plenty of lobster meat and the bun was slightly toasted on the inside."

"Ate at Mystic Lobster Roll for the first time today and it exceeded my expectations. Ordered the regular Maine (cold with mayo) and the regular Connecticut (warm with butter). Both were delicious and the lobster was very fresh tasting. The rolls were also superb. My favorite was the warm (but not by much) while the wife's favorite was the cold. The decor is very nice and the service was as well. Will be back very soon!!!"

"I seldom google review (everyone says this right?) but we live across town and had talked about visiting for months. So glad we did today on fall break- lobster rolls were huge and a hit with our kids. I recommend the Louis XIII. We tried all the waffle fry varieties, and the slaw was a sneaky hit too. Old Bay fried FTW. Our school age kids were not excited about it, now they are angling for when they can come back (and we haven’t left yet). As much as we loved the food, you have to be prepared to meet the two owners (the Stephens) who are awesome! If you like lobster and steak and truly enjoying supporting local, pay them a visit!"

"We just learned of this restaurant's existence today, and decided that we had to try it. We are so happy that we did. The owner was there and was a wonderful help in helping us decide which roll to try. I ordered the Connecticut Roll with Old Bay seasoned fries and my wife ordered the LBI Roll with Clam Chowder. The bread roll themselves were wonderfully buttery and toasted perfectly. The serving of lobster was substantial for a regular sized roll, and cooked well. No overdone chewiness! The Clam Chowder was hearty and flavorful. The Fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned well. The Slaw that comes with the rolls, was tangy and not too sweet. For our food, it came to $70. But having had lobster rolls in Long Island, the price here is less and we received more lobster meat per roll, and sides. It may be spendy for some people's taste, but I promise, it is worth it."
