"Just had pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese. The sandwich was not slathered with BBQ sauce like it is at so many places, allowing the natural flavor of the smoked meat to shine. And it was absolutely delicious! Mac & cheese is the baked kind (my favorite) and loaded with cheese. Mama Yo took my order and prepared my food. She was friendly and happy. She prepares everything, including a nice selection of sides. Atmosphere is authentic! I will be back to try the ribs! Support local business- try Mama Yo's!"
"I felt like I went to visit family here. It was like a backyard BBQ but I had to eat and run. The food was hot, good and straight off the grill. The turnips, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and potato salad was off the chain. Although he represented Steeler Nation, he welcomed this Cowboy Fan. He talked his smack while I was smacking on dem Cowboy ribs."
"Visiting Chattanooga on vacation and found this GEM on Google. The plates are huge, enough for me to have two meals. The food is beyond amazing! We were looking for some good home cooked bbq food and was blown away by how good this food was! We met both Mama Yo and her husband and they are so friendly and great to talk to while we were waiting on our food. If we come back to Chattanooga, that will always be a good to location for dinner!"
