"The Absolutely the worst Kroger (North Ave) in Macon and Surrounding area; The Deli is Absolutely Awful; there are not a wide variety of Healthy Food Choices at this Kroger ( I think this is based on Demographics of the area, That is blantantly Basis), (The Restrooms are Horrible and always Nasty and uncleaned) Every other Kroger in Macon and the Surrounding Areas are Better by far, it's not even close; The employees will not cook fresh (Chicken) food when asked, instead they insist that you choose and purchase the old dry chicken has to be sold first, the rotisserie chicken often look burnt and over cooked, I talked to the manager, he often seems not concerned or uninterested and never rectify the situation or complaints, They had a hard worker and very customer friendly florist (Mrs. B J.) she suddenly transferred after 30 Years, the one they have now there insists on you purchase the flowers first before she do any arrangements, and then tells customers that's company policy; which is not true, I asked the Store Manager about this Supposedly Company Policy he seems dumbfounded and acts like he's unsure of Company Policy and Procedures, I feel like Store has gradually went down and the store product has become mediocre, they just put anything out there and expect people to accept it and buy, I'm going to other places where the product and customer service is up to standard ... - Minus 10"
"The store itself is great!!! The deli section is lacking in customer service skill and professionalism. Every time I encounter one particular employee she lies. First she told me they didn’t make sandwiches on Sunday and then she she said I needed to wait til 1 pm."
"Going to a big chain store always has the potential to be aggravating. I'd much rather go here than Walmart. The store is clean and shelves are stocked. Customer service is also way better than Walmart. The produce and meat is in my opinion of a much better quality. Point being, if you're buying groceries go to Kroger, better experience and service. Go to Walmart if you want clothes, certain appliances, windshield wipers, lawn/garden stuff and deal with being forced to have your pick of 300 self checkout lanes or a mile long wait to "be" checked out by a cashier at 1 of the 2 regular checkouts. The higher ups at Walmart then wonder why there is shrinkage. DUH!"
"Couldn't purchase tobacco without them scanning a physical ID. Some states have implemented digital "smart" IDs, such as Florida; also pretty sure Florida physical IDs aren't even scannable. I wish I lived in a world of common sense where the cashier could look at me, and use their brain to determine that I'm obviously older than 21, but here we are. I'll just spend my money elsewhere, groceries included."
"Love my Kroger stores. This one is located in area that can be a bit difficult getting in and out of. Parking is always available, but you might have to hunt for a space, and park far out. Plenty of fresh produce, meats and dairy to choose from. Most of the shelves were stocked, and I found very few items that they were out of. Friendly staff, but they seem understaffed. I waited for 15 minutes in the meat department for service. I finally left. Only one person there working and he was busy. Big grip today is a lot of the meats did not have pricing marked on them. I complained to the store manager and he told me that the prices should be on the shelves below the meat. I looked and there were no prices ( see picture)."
