Publix Super Market at Piedmont Commons Shopping Center 1050 East Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30062

"This store has either done away with the usual policy of only allowing small item loads at self checkout or has sorry employees unwilling to enforce it. I went to checkout with a basket of two items only to see that there was a long line at self checkout backing up halfway down an aisle. Two employees were standing around the self checkout allowing 2 people to check out there with fully loaded shopping carts full of dozens of items, while a queue was building and one of the stations was out of order. This was horrible management for efficiency and this store has lost my business."

"What is happening to this Publix @ East Piedmont and Roswell Rd?? I witnessed this today.... A employee named "Melissa" was VERY nasty and all up in a lady's business and acting very unprofessional. All because one of the self checkouts were not open. The lady actually laughed at herself not realizing until after she set her basket of groceries down on the closed check out. Melissa is a customer service representative with self check outs. Melissa acting more like a geto hood rat with her heavy slang and with literally getting up in the lady's face when asked for her name. These are why people are FED-UP with these types of RUDE people at this Publix. Melissa, if you don't want to help people out, which by the way is part of your job, QUIT!!!! Hope the manager (Walt?) will reprimand Melissa and give her time off for her VERY rude attitude!!!"

"Melissa working Sunday 1/20/2024 Should be fired. I mistakenly went to a closed self checkout register. I realized what I had done and turned around to Melissa glaring at me and rolling her eyes. I came and stood in line. In front of a gentleman who she said was already standing there before me. I never saw the person walking up to the register. She started yelling and arguing with me with great disrespect. She could have handled this in a different more mature and less racist way. She needs to be told she doesn't work in the getto."

"A beautiful surprise tonight as I was handed a vase of flowers on my way out! Yes they had to probably let go of overstock of their Christmas batch - but what a nice touch! It's 2024 around the corner and it felt so much what it might have been like long ago when there was one grocery store in town and customers were handed a gift on Christmas Eve. Thank you, Publix at Piedmont, for being my grocer! Merry Christmas to all working tonight and Happy New Year ahead."

"Simply the best selection of quality foods and household products. Prices are lower at some places, but the services of staff and the quality of goods at other stores is lacking. I admire that Publix hires the differently-abled and includes these workers meaningfully in serving customers."
