"Best customer service hands down. I was in need of a boiler in the middle of winter and Trudi and her husband couldn’t of been easier to work with. They were extremely knowledgeable about not only the wood boiler I was looking at, but also all the possible ways of plumbing it in my existing system. They came out that same week to install and stayed until the boiler was operational. They even helped with some modifications I needed to do in my house. They stayed until past 10pm! You can’t beat their customer service. Can’t say enough good things about them. Even a year after the install, they are always helpful with question or any central boiler products I need. If your looking a quality boiler from a large reputable company like Central Boiler with the personal customer service from a dealer like RIS Wood Heat, look no further."
"This company is top notch, Trudi works hard at keeping her customers happy and providing them with exceptional customer service. Research the different models before you make a decision, Trudi is also very helpful. Make sure you choose the right one for your needs, I spent countless hours researching and talking with other central boiler owners. The fire box design, and the thermopex help make these the most efficient/best wood boilers on the market. I purchased one of the 6048 classics and couldn’t be happier. Make sure you buy the central boiler thermopex piping, it cost more but will save you on wood and digging up the junk you paid half the price for. If you choose one of the newer more efficient models like the E-classic, make sure you’re loading/cleaning and using it properly. I’m happy with my purchase, and look forward to dealing with R.I.S in the future. Nick O’Donnell"
"I wanted to take a minute to thank Trudi & "pap" and everyone at RIS Wood Heat for all of their support. They were great every step of the way. They helped with the sale of my burners, setting them in place, helped with troubleshooting or any questions I had learning the set up, day to day questions I had about pumps, piping, and of course they have all the accessories you may need to get up and running, or yearly maintenance. Looking forward to continuing to work with them while their burners continue to work on keeping us warm!"
"I don't know what you're smoking, George, but mine works perfectly! The Dealer was awesome in both sales and service. Strongly recommend."
"I previously had a high rating for this company, but after years of neglect in trying to gain any acceptable form of operation from my unit I must change my rating. Our unit is fully clogged due to a design flaw by the manufacturer. The manufacturer issued a kit to partially amend this flaw, but we are waiting months in the depths of winter with no communication from the dealer. Second, we paid an extreme cost for a dual fuel unit, but this is pure vaporware. The burners cannot operate for more than a few hours or days and then they foul with creosote. The manufacturer has also issued an update for this, but our $15,000 investment sits COLD out in the yard. I fight this machine continuously in the worst weather conditions and breath more smoke than a chain smoking cigarette addict. What is the value of your warmth, safety, and health? Service was promised but not delivered, so now we have completely lost our primary heat source. I ask you to consider if you can survive without your furnace once installed, because this is the risk you are placing on your family. Stick to your current furnace and heat source. Saving a few dollars is not worth the very real risk of having zero heat. Energy costs are low today, and there is little benefit to installing a wood furnace at this time. Do your research. For example 'e2300 problems' or 'central boiler problems' or 'central boiler class action' I am not alone. It is easy to get excited about your potential new boiler and look past the negative potential. I did. But look -- it's real. Stick to your current source of heat."
