PetSmart Grooming

"Excellent grooming service at this particular Petsmart in Cleveland, TN, right off exit 27 on I-75 on Paul Huff. I was able to get a same day appointment, no less, for my giant breed doggie, which is unheard of in this area. She is a long appointment, usually a minimum of 3 1/2 hours, and that is when she is not a disaster. She becomes a disaster if we push her groom out any longer than 4 weeks. She received a full groom, along with nails, hygiene trim, gland expressing, blowout, and undercoat major shed brush out (she is a Newfoundland). Her coat was not too long, so they didn’t have to give her a full body haircut, thankfully. She only a few tiny, tiny mats under her ears where it is almost impossible to prevent an occurrence, so her appointment was *only* 4 hours. She looked and smelled beautiful when she was picked up, and due to a scheduling snafu between my husband and I, we were 35 minutes behind picking her up. To top it off, we were not aware the grooming department closed well ahead of the store, so the people there had been done for the day and patiently waited for her to be picked up. I would give more than five stars if possible for their kindness in handling that alone. Those who schedule a grooming in the afternoon need to be aware they do close that department at 5 PM. The quality of the grooming was first rate. I am hoping very much they will allow us to bring Lady Bernadette back in a couple weeks for her regular grooming, despite our tardiness in picking her up from her previous appointment. The price is reasonable, in line with our dog’s size and the time involved in her grooming. We are very happy with the results!"
