Reviews
"This review has 2 parts. Firstly a poor rating and secondly a good rating due to action taken by TieDyedShop to resolve the problems. Part 1 - Poor Review What has changed at Tie Dyed Shop that previously had exceptional customer service to disgraceful customer service. I used Tie Dyed Shop some years ago. I loved the product so much so, that at considerable freight expense I attempted to buy more. Now things have changed. The service is a disgrace. I submitted an order and after a month I emailed Shelly because nothing had arrived. She advised that the payment had been declined. I was puzzled because funds were present, and I she hadn't contacted me to let me know that there was a problem. I submitted an order again. A month later nothing had arrived, so I checked with PayPal and found that the order was pending - "awaiting for the merchant to complete the order." I emailed 4 times and received no response. I telephoned twice. Once I left a message requesting a response to the emails, and secondly was advised by an automated voice that the voice mailbox was full. I note that I'm not the first person to have these complaints, and responses of apology for poor service and statements that "We value you as a customer" are hollow words, otherwise these incidents would be isolated. The website advocates "Superior Customer Service". Again hollow words. Part 2 - Good Review The statement that words were hollow now is inappropriate because of a response. "I do apologize for the terrible customer service we have displayed recently concerning your orders. We get so overwhelmed at Christmas that we do miss some orders and especially foreign orders." This was backed up by a promise to fill teh order and also throw in another shirt in good will"
"So many options and an easy to use site! Best of all, wonderful customer service! I ordered a shirt early last week and it said it shipped later in the week, and was to be delivered on Monday. There was an issue with the mail and they didn't deliver it and decided to return to sender very quickly. Allen was extremely helpful and polite when I called and was able to get another sent to me immediately, as this is a gift for someone and I need it soon. Will definitely order again for any Tie Dye needs!"
"Wonderful product, very fair prices, and customer service that is beyond outstanding. I needed a shirt for the weekend and called Shelly at the Tie Dyed Shop at the last minute. She processed my order immediately and literally ran after the mail carrier to get my package sent clear across the country so I could have it in time. It arrived in two days and was a glorious shirt for sure! She was very informative about their products, the sizing, washing instructions, and on-going care, super friendly, and clearly wanted to make my buying experience the positive and rewarding one it was. I can't say enough about this business...they go the extra mile and do it with a smile."
"Edit: Hours after I posted this review and messaged it to them, I got a call from one of the owners. He was very apologetic, and my problem has been resolved, very much to my satisfaction. Thanks, Mr. Farish! Their merchandise is very good, but their customer service is consistently poor. I've now emailed them twice and called them once about a quality problem with my order--a hanging thread. I've had no response to my email. And when I called them, I didn't even get a voicemail message--I got a generic message saying my party wasn't answering and that my call would be disconnected. This is not the first customer-service problem I have had with them. The last time, the owner blamed it on a student employee who left suddenly with service issues in disarray. I'm posting this review in hopes that the owner will read it."
"I had ordered from The Tie Dyed Shop a few years ago and, although they were a tad slow to complete my order, there were no real issues. That has changed dramatically. I placed an order on 9/16 that still shows as 'processing'. In the time between 9/16 and yesterday, I sent 2 e-mails asking for information and received no response. Yesterday I called the number listed on the Yahoo Shopping form and, after listening to the greeting that identified the number belonged to The Tie Dyed Shop, received a 'voicemail box full' error. I sent another e-mail and also messaged on Facebook. I finally received responses to the Facebook message only to learn they have not even begun processing my order. Turns out that 1 item has been out of stock for quite some time; and was out of stock when I placed my order but no one bothered to tell me. The Facebook messages from them have been very apologetic, and acknowledged the poor customer service, but it really is a case of 'too little, too late'. I will definitely be finding a different place to purchase items for my grandsons who love tie dye clothing."
