Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center

"I wasn't going to do it them y'all but now I absolutely have to. The only reason my review has 1 star instead of 2 is because of Ethiopia that works in the restaurant - she is the only great part of this hotel. I stayed for a company event for 5 days. My first room's shower did not drain at all, not even overnight. Our company utilized a conference room and paid for lunch. They charged our hostess $50+ per person for a sandwich and chips in a bag. They also put the sandwiches out 2.5 hours early, to which I had to request that they be put back in the refrigerator. Also, they had painting going on in the (one person, skinny) hallway when there were hundreds of people attending events in the conference center. The front desk is not knowledgeable - we received a lot of "I don't know" replies. Piggybacking off of that, I am now one whole week into trying to get folios emailed to me. I have been sent back and forth from front desk to manager repeatedly for them to say they don't have the folio. How can you not have it if we literally stayed there?? Then finally it appears. Beyond ridiculous and such an inconvenience. That really sums it up, everything about our stay here was an inconvenience. We will never be using this hotel for our conference again."

"I have frequently had the opportunity to stay at this Marriott due to its proximity to my company’s (Impellam) North America headquarters. Every time I have visited I have found the staff to be welcoming and the service/hospitality to best in class. I want to give a special shout-out to Ethiopia, Ketty and Alyssa for making my days brighter. And for the sweet man whose name I didn’t capture but found ketchup two days in a row for me :) Now Marriott leadership needs to recognize their great work and quickly invest in refreshing the rooms and overall hotel aesthetic. Peeling paint is a no go in outdated conference spaces."

"Ethiopia was warm, friendly, and provided a great dining experience. Babajide was very helpful when the parking deck machine didn't give me a receipt. He took my email and sent me a digital copy. The overall experience was fantastic. I was not a guest at the hotel, but the level of service was impeccable."

"this is a great hotel. I enjoyed staying here again. I’ve been a couple years since I’ve been here, but we’re very well kept going at time. My only challenge was the breakfast at the restaurant. Had very limited items available sevral items were just out of stock. I had to send my food back for my pancakes was well overcooked and after receiving them the second time I just put one aside and only at 2. the because of the presentation was still over cooked. The waiter. Ketty was great and patient with the process and stayed attentive to our needs."
