"This lovely B&B is 15 minutes outside of Dahlonega which is just far enough away to feel isolated, but not too isolated. It is a good launching point for access to hiking trails and waterfalls. My room was spacious and clean with lovely views of the mountains. The staff(Kendall) was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and tasty each day. Having a fridge and coffeemaker in the room was a wonderful amenity."

"We loooove this place! We've stayed here twice so far. It's a very cozy, welcoming lodge. Don (the inn keeper) is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. We loved the fireplace in the suite, the delicious breakfasts and the breathtaking views. Thank you and we'll be back soon!!!"

"We were looking for a place to relax, enjoy the view, that provided breakfast, and was in the mountains. The area was recommended to us, but when we saw the Lodge's view and reviews, we were sold. Our stay was great! The lodge was beautiful, well kept, clean, and in the perfect location. The breakfasts were so, so good that we couldn't help but purchase one of the cookbooks with their recipes, as well as a few of the soaps provided by local businesses (they smell so good). We purchased one of the hiking packages that included a taxi to the peak to begin our hike, packed lunches for the hike, and the taxi to our evening meal at a nearby winery, and back. We also got the chocolate covered strawberries package. The strawberries were fresh and delicious. The hike was beautiful, the lunch was generous portions of yummy sandwiches and sides, and the evening trip to the winery was also enjoyable. Our host, Don, at the lodge was gracious and made us feel so welcome. Mama, the driver, made us feel like family. I'd highly recommend staying at the Long Mountain Lodge and experiencing everything the area has to offer. Extremely happy that we chose to stay here, and will definitely be visiting again."

"Absolutely amazing experience. The room was immaculate, with great amenities, and a great variety of board games for the end of the night when we were winding down. Especially the view from the deck when the night was closing in, so relaxing. Breakfast was made right there and then, and the staff was super courteous. We loved every minute of it and we can't wait to be back soon!"

"Wow, what service! I felt so comfortable and at home after a hard race day (Merrill’s Mile, just 4 miles from the lodge). Epsom salts left in a jar next to a jet tub was a luxury after such a difficult day. Muffins catered to my canopy while I raced, a note for me when I arrived, and the alluring smells of a delicious breakfast were the best wake up call. Being the only lodging in the area, I did not expect such high quality service and accommodations and I was totally blown away. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and included. I’ll be back next year!!!!"
