"Updated Review!! Summer of 2020 Someone from FedEx (main office)for the Bridgeport area called and spoke with me about the problems I experienced with the wheelchair and past deliveries. Am pleased to say that we haven’t had any other issues with packages being delivered. Stellar service!! Courteous drivers! Way to go Fedex!!! Thank you!! Fall 2019 I was supposed to receive my much-needed wheelchair today. Did it arrive? Why no. No, it did not arrive today even though it has been out for delivery on the truck since 6:17 am this morning. Now the tracking number shows “no current status update available”. I called the 800 number and was asked to give the driver until 8pm. “Perhaps” , says the rep “Traffic is congested and the driver is stuck in traffic.” I point out I live in rural WV. Traffic congestion in our area really isn’t an issue. 8pm passed. No delivery. Called FedEx again at 9:50pm. I have been asked to give the driver until midnight even though the delivery status is in limbo. Seriously? Do they honestly think my package will be delivered by midnight? No. No, they don’t. I’m surprised they didn’t blame it on the weather. It was sunny and 45 degrees out today. Who are they kidding? This is how NOT to run a business. Not sure what’s going on with management at this location but something needs to change. Extremely frustrating. I contacted the vendor for a refund and contacted FedEx to refuse delivery for a package that hasn’t been delivered. How disheartening. ******************UPDATE*********************Our status has now been updated to “package has been delivered; left on porch at 7:18pm on Saturday, November 9”. My husband looked on our porch at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm and again at midnight per FedEx’s suggestion. Not to mention we have two windows, and floor to ceiling window panels to the left and right of the front door, left the light on and spent the evening laying on the couch with full view of the porch waiting for a delivery. NO. No package was delivered on Saturday, November 9 at 7:18pm. Why did the driver lie? My husband left this morning at 10:15 am to let our friends’ dogs out. There was NO package on our front porch. When he returned at 10:30 there was NO package on our front porch. NOW there is a package on our front porch. Had to have been delivered between 11am and noon, today, Sunday, November 10. How is it that the driver/delivery guy is able to record/document that he/she delivered the package on Saturday, November 9 at 7:18pm??? Why not record the actual delivery date and time? Why not be honest?"
"Flat out refused to deliver my package Kept posting on truck for delivery but by the end of the day they mark it "delivery exception" after I waited all day. Took my package so far 9 days to be delivered and still has not been.. And it was shipped from Morton I'll. Going to West Virginia. I'm contacting the company that shipped this item and asking for a complete refund and let FedEx explain to the shipper why they refused to deliver this item I was supposed to have this item on the 7th of May and it's now the 11th of May and it's marked once again "No attempt made to deliver.""
"They don't even deserve that one star. Nothing but problem after problem with these lazy employees. I see, by reading reviews, it's not just me having the same issues. The worse one, the drivers lying saying they left the package at a specific time and location i.e. front porch. An grade schooler could run this place better. Get your act together and give a the care and concern customers pay for and deserve. HORRIBLE"
"This is definitely the worst run Fedex in United States. Waited 4 days past promised date for very important package. First they said nobody was home and driver couldn’t deliver. This was a bold face lie. Then I was told it was last scanned at Bridgeport and it hadn’t been scanned since and it was lost four days later it finally showed. FedEx management should be ashamed for allowing the negligence to go on. FedEx cannot be trusted"
"FedEx freight is terrible. A rude agent called to schedule a delivery, but wouldn’t give me the time range and said it would be in an email. Weird, but okay. I agreed to meet them and get a 2,000 dollar piece of workout equipment. Well, the driver could figure out how to make a call , but not how to leave a message on my cell phone. If he could have left a message, then I would have been home to get this. The email they sent with a time range was a disaster and unable to read it. It was written with big and little letters ran together like copy cut paste had an issue and created a ransom note. Ugh! FedEx took it upon themselves and was going to return the item back to CA. Really? The company asked if I was returning the equipment? No! Now, I’ve hit a deer and don’t have anything that could haul this piece of equipment. They will have to figure out how to get this to my house. I called the number on the email that said US and Canada and it was a nightmare! 3 agents later and much drama, it turns out they sent the wrong phone number. By the time I got someone with a brain and was giggling around and playing jokes on each other in an office somewhere south of the border, then the people I needed to talk to were out of the office. Today the drama will continue with people who can’t do the most basic of tasks. It now has been a week of trying to get this item and still don’t have it? Drama continues.... UPDATE: Finally reached an actual person who was kind, helpful and professional. She left a note for the driver to leave a message when he calls. I guess the average person doesn’t know to do that when someone doesn’t answer the phone. This has been a nightmare!!!! FedEx has delayed me not having this equipment for 7 days. ALL because a driver can’t leave a message on a phone. Well, I ended up with a smart mouth former fire truck driver and said he couldn't get up my hill. I guess he couldn't figure that out when he picked up that package. Ugh! I guess logistics is not there strong point. Fedex hold my bike for two weeks and finally had a guy with an actual truck to bring it to me. I guess it was Fedex freights first time delivering to my small city. NOT! How does this company stay in business? Had I paid for shipping, then I would have been beyond angry! Unreal experience"
