"The Wright hotel held a tea party for mothers day... my lil girl and I had a blast.... she loves learning about our history and loved seeing everything at the hotel... historical motel not a hotel now... a must see.... everyone was soo sweet and nice we loved it ❤️"

"This is a historical site, not operating as a hotel anymore. It is only open for tours on festival days, second Saturdays, special occasions, and by appointment. My visits are usually just to hide kindness rocks on the surrounding rock wall or at the nearby Chatsworth Depot. It's an interesting little tour, when open: an old-fashioned, simple lodging place."

"The hotel is a historic gem! Memorabilia includes furniture, dishes, daughter Kate's nursing instruments and other Indian artifacts from her time out west, pine floors and many other period pieces. The small window in the front is a bathroom which was added later replacing the original front door."

"My baby shower was held here. It was so pretty inside and out. The man who runs it could not be nicer. I loved it and will definitely be holding more events there in the future."

"This is not an active hotel but an historical landmark that is being preserved by the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society. Built in 1909 in was a 3 story hotel and home. It has a rich and varied history and worth a visit. Just be sure to check the hotel's Facebook page before making the trip because it is only open for special events and occasions."
