"Not happy after driving 8 hrs with grandson. Tried to check in and pay. They Wanted credit card to pay ,all I had was bank card to pay half and cash for rest. Not good enough.was not informed on running it all on credit card. Then you can pay cash at check out. So I guess it took another week for your money to go back on idk. But it ruined my grandsons reunion. This was confirmed reservation. And guy was rude.. ."

"It's a good enough place, next to the highway, but they really rushed us out at check out. We had booked a late check out but it didn't show up, I guess, because both the cleaning staff and the front staff made a big stink about us not leaving soon enough for them. Not what I expected out of a diamond member experience."

"stayed in Dec 2023 in a king bed room on top floor. Arrived early but they let us in +++. The hotel looks fairly new maybe 10yrs or less. Decorated well & modern looking. Room has charging stations on both sides of bed & a 42" TV, shower had the pump bottles of soap. The breakfast bar on Tuesday had eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, & beverages,... no Biscuits & gravy but would have been nice. Cons: several Lady bugs was on our room ceiling & gave the choice to move or they get them out, we kept the room but later i have do get rid of 5+ more during our stay. Also close the interstate & big trucks noise is a pain. I suggest to stay on the opposite side of the interstate if u can pick your room. Plenty of gas station & restaurants near by too. Would stay there again,"

"The Hampton Inn Fort Payne is clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient for us as we like to drive through the mountains in daytime. There are several things to see in the area. The breakfast is good, but be sure to get there before 9:00 AM. The lady in the breakfast area will definitely let you know if you are not early."
