Reviews
"I went in for work clothes and came out satisfied and only spent half as much as I planned. I love coming here first when I need clothes because I always find something and it's hard to find my sizes."
"I had a great experience in Macon today. The store was very organized with a big selection of clothes. Bella was wonderful and very helpful! She definitely is a great asset to the store. Next time in town I will definitely be going back! Thank you Bella for all your help!!"
"Rude and couldn’t give us a gift card also acted like we were an inconvenience when we asked for one. Completely ignored us to talk to an employee . Lady was rude because she didn’t know how to ring up a gift card. Ignorance makes you rude I guess"
"All the reviews about the combative and rude behavior of the staff in this store are true. I deleted my previous review because the owner seemed to be compassionate. However, rules can be taken too seriously and today I witnessed the rudeness of Bella. She is the woman who said she was manager and refused to stand there so I could look at shoes to buy. I was standing in front of the shoes and she could have helped me find a pair. Since I began selling clothes when I was sixteen and became a public relations professional when I was older, I can see the true value of good PR. By practicing the Keystone cop routine, Bella does not help her owner make money. Secondly, the prices are three times the value of the product. I did have a chance to price some used off- brand athletic shoes and was blown away by the $75 price tag. I am visiting from California where the prices are high for everything yet I can guarantee these shoes would have been priced around $25. It is a shame the manager and staff run good paying customers away because of their power and control issues. In the last review the owner said not all people are honest which is true. But the story remains do you want to lose money from an honest customer because of an abusive staff?"
"I drove 45 minutes to Platos Closet just for them to tell me that it’s 3 people’s drop offs they have to do and they are short staff so they could not take mine. Then offered me to go to the Jonesboro location which is AN HOUR away from their location. That’s disrespectful!!! I called before I came to ask a question, it should have been communicated with me that they were not accepting any more drop offs on that day. Not to mention, they were standing at the register talking and not even checking the drop offs. When taking these pictures the little girl waved at the camera… ghetto. The store is filthy and smells awful. Plato’s needs to do better!"
