"I absolutely love this place. They are understanding and are more compassionate than any other bit I have ever dealt with. Answer any questions at any time, and never makes you feel like a fool because you care passionately about your pet. They understand that they are more than just family."
"The staff was super nice. They took such good care of my dog. They were really transparent with their prices. I recommend them for any of your fur babies needs."
"Pros: professionalism, knowledge, quick appointment dates, friendly desk staff, easily accessible app (PetDesk) Everyone that works here is so kind and professional. After a sudden seizure scare one morning with our little buddy, Kitsu, GVH was the only place open near us so we rushed over to them with no appointment. The were kind, patient, understanding, helpful, and most of all compassionate. I genuinely felt at ease as soon as we got there. By that point Kitsu had already calmed down for the most part and I was feeling a bit like I had overreacted. They assured us that we were no bother and that they were just happy to help and look him over. They ended up giving us plenty of valuable information and didn't even charge us for the visit. Immediately after that we decided to switch to GVH as our full time vet and have had no opportunities to regret the decision yet! The front desk is always welcoming and helpful to me. They are friendly and you can tell that everyone there genuinely loves animals. Each doctor we have seen has been thorough, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind as well. We recently started taking our other big buddy, Chloe, here also and they've been a great help in her health and general well-being as well! I would highly recommend Gainesville Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a provider who will care about your pets as much as you do. Thank yall for always helping us and being so kind :D"
"The facility was nice, and the ladies at the front desk were friendly. Dr. Brothers was knowledgeable and efficient. However, her “bedside manner” left a bit to be desired. Typically, the veterinarians I have used in the past have shown at least a modicum of affection toward my pets. Dr. Brothers showed none. In fact, when she walked into the waiting room where my dog (Argus) and I were, he became excited (he’s friendly toward everyone) and jumped up to greet her. I was attempting to explain to her that, even though he is trained, he’s a still a puppy and sometimes forgets his manners. Before I could finish, though, she said, “Well, if he’s trained, he should know what the word NO means.” Dr. Brothers also cut me off a few times when I was trying to speak and I also felt that she wasn’t listening to a lot of what I was able to say. She did spend a bit of time explaining my dog’s condition to me, so I am giving her credit for that in my rating. Her assistant, Kyler, was exactly what one would hope for at a veterinarian clinic. He was friendly toward me and loving toward Argus. I liked him a lot."
"Dr. Scott and Dr. Brothers are wonderful. I had a cat who was very difficult to handle and they were so gentle with her. Two other offices had actually refused to help her bc of her temperament. Not only did they know how to deal with an angry cat but they helped me keep her alive for 3yrs after we found some serious kidney issues! When I had to put her down, they were there for me. I continue to take my little dog there as well and they have even helped me help a few other neighborhood animals. The office is always clean. The front desk support has changed over the yrs but have always been kind to me. I will continue to recommend both doctors to anyone in the area."
