Banfield Pet Hospital

"Okay I've been taking my dog here for some years now. At the beginning of January I took my dog in for an ear infection. After checking her out I was given some ear drops Mometamax (15mg). I started to notice after a few days my dog wasn't responding to me calling her or any commands. Upon doing research on these ear drops it said it could cause temporary deafness or permanent. It's been a month and my dog still can't hear, I was not told that these ear drops can cause this if I had known I would not have took a chance on these drops. I would have asked for something different. I'm very disappointed and angry that this has happened to my dog. Something needs to be done about this."

"Each time we come to pick up our pets, they give us a ready time and make it a big deal to make sure to come at that time. Then proceed to always make us wait 40 minutes to AN HOUR for them. No explanation, no phone call that it may take longer or someone letting us know how much longer we should wait. Then provide you with an attitude when they’re ready. The front desk women is rude and unkind. She assumes you know what everything is and will state something without providing much detail after. She’s also very hard of hearing and will stare at you to repeat yourself rather then just ask you to repeat yourself. Our pets have the premium plan but yet the front desk women always tries to charge us as if they aren’t under a plan which is inconvenient and very unprofessional. Imagine paying 150$ a month for pet care, and the staff who handles the pets are rude, negligent, inconsiderate, incompetent, and pushy."

"Please don’t take your fur babies to this hospital. Customer service is terrible. There is nobody up front when we arrived. My little dog Diva left front leg was hurting her and had to leave her for one hour for Dr. Bailey to do the xray.Dr. Bailey called me hour and told me look like my Diva had bone cancer. She would have to send the xray off to get a second opinion and that would be another $200. When I arrived to pay and pick up Diva Dr. Bailey never came to meet us or talk. I had to ask the receptionist if she would come out and talk to us. This very unprofessional for a doctor. No customer service and very rude. Cost me $540.00. Then another doctor called me the next day and told me to bring Diva back for another xray. I told her no and my primary doctor was back in town and she was going to take care of Diva. And let me add all they care about is money not the care of your fur babies"

"Banfield is the best pet hospital no matter what location. I've been to three locations and they are the best. The vets and the assistants are professional and caring. I recently brought my baby to village vet only because they are 24 hour emergency. I had more than a terrible experience, they care more about money than animals. I brought by girl to Banfield the next day for a second opinion. Banfield only wanted what was best for my pet and even gave her a teddy bear to take home. Thank you Dr Barnes Young!!"

"Carol who works the front desk is a racist and the doctors here are incompetent. This location I would not recommend you bring your animals to if you actually care about them. The practices that they have in place are highly abnormal. They are also avid liars. I love my pets, and I employer you to take your dogs or cats somewhere else. It’s not worth it"
