"Allbirds in Avalon is a nice store in a super great location. The boutique is well laid out and open and staff were very competent and friendly. The seating rocks forward slightly when you sit down, so don't sit on the edge. The shoes appear to be well made and at a similar price to On and Hoka, but they are made with some natural fibers including marino wool in some models. Can't speak to the comfort or longevity of the shoes yet, but the store was fine. This was my first retail experience without a register. The employee came over with a portable gadget like in many restaurants to "bleep" the shoes and charge the card. Very convenient. Don't be mad about the 4 stars. That is the top of my grading scale for every retail store I've gone into during the last decade or so."

"Love the product, the store, and the staff. Everyone is nice, store is clean, and love the shoes. I currently have 3 pair in rotation. The only drawback is the brand has some odd rules with returns and things so make sure you're okay with those and you will love it."

"Love the shoes but their socks do not stay on your heels. Their customer service could be better. Very disappointed their return policy on the merchandise. REI has great socks and will take back merchandise if you are not happy."

Even when I declined (wasn’t wild about my fit) they explained that if I changed my mind they’d be there to help and if I had any other needs to come back. We went back a few days later for my wife and THEY REMEMBERED US! Amazing. This place has earned our business and recommendation."
