"I want to give this review while it’s still fresh in my mind. I bought a pair of walking shoes 6/19, and in my short test walking in-store, they seemed fine. When I got home, I went to do my normal road work, and not even 20-30 yard down the street, they made sore on my heel. Of, course, I boxed them up to return and swap for a larger size. NOT a refund. I love the shoe itself. Now, I had a little road transfer on the soles, shocking nobody, since it’s the ground. The “Debbie” in this store immediately became belligerent to me. Telling me that I can’t return them, without their being clean, and that they only accept “unworn” shoes, which is a lie, because the shoes I ultimately walked out with today HAD BEEN WORN AND RETURNED. I know this because the first ones I bought had a metal chain holding on 2 Sketcher tags, but these had no such chain and only 1 tag. So, “Debbie” was basically saying she wasn’t taking them back, and then said and I quote, “This isn’t rent-a-shoe,” implying, No! Outright STATING that I was trying to rip off the store, when I was just trying to exchange a shoe for a better fit. Shoes I had on my feet 15 minutes tops. At that point, I admit, I lost it and made a scene. It was only then that she said she was going to clean them herself, and tried to act like she intended to do that all along, which was as far from the truth as can be. To top it off, once my swap was complete, I even attempted to apologize (though I was right) for our “misunderstanding,” but the “Debbie” was having none of it, and started her shrill b-ing again. I’ve spent lots of money in that Rack Room over the years, but never again. Not another dime. Too many options for purchasing shoes in the world today to put up with Debbies."

"Would have given a zero if I could. I have bought most of my shoes my entire life from this store and will never again. I purchased shoes that I wore two days and they tore my feet up. The lady refused to take them back and then totally ignored me when I was talking like I didn't exist. Absolutely rude people who do not deserve my business or any others from now on."

"Well it's my go-to place when I can't find any but thing in a way of vans I should have started there originally picked up a nice pair of slip-on pros cheaper than the outlet mall. FYI the manager of the store told me that rack room shoes has bought out Broadway shoes so he said that the styles and availability will be increased greatly because of the buying power now that they've acquired all of those new locations"
