Waffle House

"Maybe I wasn't lucky on my first visit. On the first attempt, the cook burned the fried egg. My order was simply a ham, egg, & cheese melt with plain hashbrowns. The second try unfortunately, there was a hair in my food. On the third try, as depicted in the picture, there were still bits of burned specs in both the sandwich and the hashbrowns. The manager acted like they did me a favor by re-cooking my meal."

"Walked in at 5:25 pm on a Sunday. Light crowd inside, two servers and 1 cook. Seated ourselves since no one spoke to us upon entry. Sat at a booth and made sure contact with booth servers; neither acknowledged us. One table was sitting with drinks less than half full,, but they were clearly waiting for their food. After 10 minutes of sitting and wondering if we were invisible (and neither server interacting with any patron), we got up and left. The younger server finally made eye contact with me as we were leaving; she had a sheepish look on her face as if to say "oops...!" I can't recall ever being completely ignored in a restaurant. This is inexcusable and will cause the failure of this store if it's allowed to continue at any rate. Waffle House has long been known for greeting customers upon entry as well as quick service. This WH failed on both counts."

"My daughter and I try to go out once a month for a daddy daughter date to Waffle House to catch up and interact due to our busier than usual schedules. Food is always just right- normal, not astounding but never anything to complain about. Service is always just right also... Ready to serve, easy to order, food comes out fast, hot, and fresh. Atmosphere is always like a well managed Waffle House... Great eat-in location that gets busy at times. If you get a chance, have them make crispy BLT with a single over-medium in a sesame seed bun... You won't be disappointed."

"First off I apologize for the half eaten food, we forgot to take pics before hand! To start things off our waitress had headphones in the entire time she was serving people. Oh well what can you do about that. When it came to the food, I got a pumpkin spice waffle with eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. The waffle was alright, had the chunks of cinnamon and nutmeg to make it pumpkin spice so it wasn’t that bad. My sides came out cold, the hash browns were cold and the bacon, and my eggs were luke warm at best. My girlfriend got a cheesesteak melt and the cheese on it wasn’t even melted. Her hash browns were luke warm also. Disappointed in the visit and have been to way better waffle houses. The outside looks nice but the food did not reflect."
