"I ordered ribs and potato salad with baked beans. The ribs were pink and tasted gross the potato salad was ok and I don’t know where the baked beans were but I did get about a quarter size of I don’t know what! I spent over 30.00 for most of what I had to throw in the trash!!! Very disappointing"

"Smokems BBQ was a nice stop for lunch off of SR 431. The food was good! But even tho they weren't ready for business quite yet when the doors opened up, they offered anything off the menu at no extra cost for my troubles since I waited an additional 15 minutes. I had the rib plate, and it was more than enough food. The service was nice and courteous. My only complaint and reason it's not 5 stars was the atmosphere. Some music playing would have liven up the dine-in experience. And zoned out the kitchen talk about staffing. If you're ever riding on SR 431, stop by and enjoy some BBQ! Great tasting food at a great price!"

"This small spot is connected to a gas station but it's its own entity. The service from the moment you walk through the door is so welcoming. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel like family. Now the food....OMG DELICIOUS! You cannot go wrong with anything from the menu. I don't even like coleslaw but the coleslaw here is just a must have. It pairs so perfectly with the BBQ meats and don't forget to try their baked potato salad. The best part is the super ridiculously low prices. Seriously I can get a whole meal for lunch for under 10 bucks. Stop by. You will not be disappointed. Oh and by the way, they'll even let you sample their sides before you order something you may not like."

"Only tried the hamburger steak based on the suggestion of friends. Portion was good size, mashed potatoes were good and sweet tea was good. Restaurant seating area is small so gets a little crowded when people are waiting in line at the counter. Menu is a little confusing to look at but they offer a lot of choices. I felt like the brown gravy had a greasy or lard taste. May visit again and try something different. The restroom is in the adjoining convenience store and was clean. The convenience store is very attractively designed and seems to have a great variety of beverage choices."
