Waffle House

"I frequently come to this location since it's right outside of my job. Tonight after work I came in and I was the first to arrive. I was greeted and told that the grill was down. It would take 15 minutes. I waited patiently while all of my coworkers came in and their orders were taken immediately. She glanced at me and apologized for skipping me while taking two additional walk-in customers right after me. Finally she takes my order and the ticket is still sitting there. I'm waiting to pay and she never takes my payment. I got up, left out and to avoid causing a scene gave the shift manager a note to express my feelings about the visit and walked away. I get the same thing every time and I tip even though my order is to-go. I know now to drive to the Decatur location where the service is consistent and I will be treated right. All it takes is one experience like this to make me never come back."

"Joyce, Derrick, James are the best to me. They are very nice and always get my order right. The wait time is never long, and they are very patient."

"I come here before my shift starts and again during my break and my service is A1 every time when Joyce is working. I’ve watched her get the regulars together all while taking orders and engaging with everyone in conversation. The grill ops will have you in and out quick too especially when they are working the shift together. At one point I wouldn’t have been served because they were “closed” but now I look forward to coming in for a bite. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re looking for a meal after midnight"

"This morning I visited here and the staff were all friendly and working as a team. The regulars all knew them by name and the Atmosphere was just a warming feeling. The manager Mr. Manner really impressed me how he thanked his staff and spoke encouraging and motivated words to them. That's Amazing and this restaurant is now my go to Waffle House. Thank you all for a job well done."
