About the Business
Cylantro's Venezuelan Cuisine in Roswell, Georgia, is a restaurant that brings the traditional flavors of Venezuela to the United States. The history of the institution dates back to the indigenous people of the Caribbean who created a food based on corn, which eventually evolved into the popular dish known as arepas. In 1960, the Venezuelan industry developed precooked cornmeal specifically for making arepas, which are now a staple in Venezuelan households.
At Cylantro's, the founders aim to honor the women who taught them the art of cooking, especially the preparation of arepas and various fillings. The restaurant was founded in 2015 with the goal of sharing the authentic flavors of Venezuela with the community. Starting with arepas, empanadas, and tequeños, Cylantro's has expanded its menu to include dishes such as Patacones and Cachapas.
The philosophy of Cylantro's is "food from the heart," and they strive to provide an authentic dining experience for their customers. With two locations and plans for further expansion, Cylantro's is dedicated to bringing the taste of Venezuela to more towns in Georgia.

"Usually I get the “Sanchocho” Venezuelan Homemade style beef & chicken soup. It’s my favorite so makes me remind my home kitchen. Also the “Tequeños” are awesome and for dessert I do “Quesillo” a Venezuelan Criole style flan. Their kitchen is flavorful and tasty."
"Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is great. The only reason I have them 4 stars for service is because I’ve had to wait around for a good minute on two separate trips. But I can say it was still worth the wait."
"Fast and delicious. Bit overpriced tho. Paid $18 for lunch special. But it was filling and delicious. Only had a few min and the food came out soooo fast. Had great flavor. The chicken was so flavorful is made the whole dish absolutely delicious. Really enjoyed it."
"Very delicious food, i only tried the Arepas but it was super delicious. One was enough to fill me up. They have this delicious green salsa that it's so bomb!!! The Staff was kind, i went 15 minutes before closing with out knowing, and even tho they had already started to close, they were able to make the food. I will go back and try different food, but i hope that if you are near by, you will too."
"the arepa had a very strange taste. He had never tasted an arepa with that flavor. I even thought it might be that they didn't use the same dough or changed, I don't know. but he didn't know arepa. it just didn't feel fresh. the empanadas were so-so. The only thing we liked was the tequeños, they were good. I will give them a chance again in the future."
