"We were asked upon arrival if we had made reservations which we didn't know we needed to so we ended up sitting at the bar. We were able to order food and drinks just like sitting at a table. I think we just chose the wrong restaurant for me to like the food because my husband really enjoyed his but, I did not realize that I was ordering a cold dish and I forced myself to eat most of it. He is lactose intolerant so they had a variety of things that he could have ordered which was nice."
"Grace was our Bartender. She was very knowledge and hospitable, without being overbearing. She had great recommendations for every step of our meal. Looking at the menu, my assumption was "nouveau, not trying overly hard to impress, comprehensive. " I also assumed the prices reflected the trendy vibe + inflation. When the portions came out, I was floored. Every dish is large enough to share with a 4-top. Humble and delicious, the value here is wild. I saved the best for last. Bring at least one wino friend to impress with this list, and definitely get a bottle. I work in this industry, both restaurant and retail. These are retail wine prices, and boutique-level finds. The owner was a sweetheart, very willing to pop over and make sure we had a lovely dinner. This is my new spot."
"The burrata appetizer & the cauliflower salad (plenty big) were the standouts of all the things we ordered. The bucatini with shrimp was the best of the entrees we ordered. Our server was excellent - very kind and attentive. There are plenty of cocktails & beers and an extensive wine list both by the glass and even more by the bottle."
"Super flavorful and delicious food! We really enjoyed our first visit to Kitty Dare. The service was great and the ambience was fun and cozy. We had the Burrata and Dip trio to start, and the Gnocchi and Buccatini with Shrimp as our entrees. I loved the way they incorporate different Mediterranean flavors into the menu, and the fresh baked bread was so good. The G&T was very refreshing. Can’t wait to go back!"
"If you are looking for a spot to enjoy this gorgeous fall weather, go check out Kitty Dare, but you have to promise to go back and enjoy the lovely interior. It is unrecognizable form the prior restaurant. Gorgeous black and white tile line the inside with a splash of bright blue to liven up the inside. Eli's G+T is the way to go - just look how big the drink is! I loved the splash of apricot that made it a bit different than your average G+T. It was light and refreshing, perfect to wash down our appetizers. The orange and fennel salad was so unique with the fennel flavor in the background - not overwhelming. It had the lightest vinaigrette dressing too which was delightful. The Tunisi Eggplant is another sharable plate, in fact it was big, we barely made a dent in our entrees. I'd recommend visiting KD with at least four people if you plant to try a bunch of dishes. My Gnocchi with lamb was delicious and reminded me a bit of Moussaka. The Teres Major is basically steak frites and so plentiful. It comes with a gremolata too for dipping. We ordered 2 desserts: the white chocolate Pistachio cheesecake and the Saffron and Dates panna cotta. The first was the better of the two but if you love panna cotta you can't go wrong with that choice either. Oh and our server was wonderful at making recommendations and helping navigate the menu. Highly recommend visiting. Oh and street parking was easy to find and the best part - it was free!"
