"My wife and I ordered the food and drink tasting experience. There was not a bad dish. We loved the soup and salad. The fried chicken with apple slices was not as flavorful as the other courses, but still pretty tasty. I would definitely go back!"
"Still my favorite in Atlanta, food is just unique and tasty. The potato soup and apple chicken were the favorites - fun dishes that had a ton of flavor, could have eaten another plate of each. The sauce that came with the broccoli and cauliflower was also really powerful, we ended using the tzimmes dish to mop up the rest of the sauce"
"I was super excited to try Little Bear given all the recent attention they’ve received, but boy did I leave disappointed. First, our server, Amanda, was extremely rude, and she acted as if we were an inconvenience to her. She didn’t talk about the menu, and when I asked menu-related questions, she gave one or two word answers to describe the dishes. Second, the food was awful. Flavors were overly complex, and it seemed they threw everything and the kitchen sink in the dishes. The flavor combos and profiles just weren’t doing it for me. Portions were also extremely small. Wine selection was blah too. And the wine was served out of a regular drinking glass - not a proper wine glass. I’m not sure if they’re going for a hipster, trendy vibe, or what… they definitely missed. We left extremely disappointed."
"What is the hype about this place?! Tiny menu with all small plates and questionable dishes (if you’re not vegetarian/vegan). You’ll need at least 6 plates to get fed. Which is 60% of all dishes they offer. “Raw beef” is just a poor version of a beef tartare. Even cocktails were tiny. Interior is “cute” but nothing special. Service was nice and friendly though. I was disappointed after the visit. Would not recommend."
"Considering moving to Atlanta just to eat at this restaurant more. They way the menu customized to our dietary preferences was delightful, the server took our menu and rewrote it basically to show us the vegetarian menu. The flavors and ingredients were fresh unique. We are also pretty light drinkers and they accommodated our request for off-menu mocktails. Highly recommend Little Bear!"
