"Big Easy BBQ was such a great find. The food was something different and delicious from the normal restaurants around the area. The customer service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. You should check them out. We all enjoyed the food so much and we cannot wait to try other stuff from the menu."
"First time here. Overall really good. Couple of suggestions…. The coleslaw needs to be ice cold and the po’ boy are really messy so get the gravy on the side. We tried the pulled pork plate with 5 cheese mac & cheese and jalapeño coleslaw, the brisket po’ boy and the jalapeño hush puppies (all yum!)"
"First time here and wow.. excellent! We got two different appetizers.. burnt ends and boudin balls. Both were outstanding! Then for lunch, I got the Big E burger (brisket added) and cheese grits. Everything was delicious! The staff were super friendly and were eager to answer any questions. The restaurant was very clean and organized. I can’t wait to go back!"
"This brand new local bbq spot is a welcome addition to the Hickory Flat neighborhood. Three of us went for dinner tonight and we’re delighted with the Cajun twist on bbq. We started with the jalapeño hush puppies, moved on to two orders of St. Louis Ribs & a pulled pork po’Boy including sides of red beans & rice, spicy green beans & corn maque choux. We finished with banana pudding & bread pudding with toffee sauce. Every dish was yummy, perfectly seasoned & generous in size. We are definitely looking forward to returning and trying more of the delicious options along with another order of bread pudding, a not to be missed treat. I don’t usually add to a review but our second visit was every bit as wonderful as our first. This time we the crawfish fondue and can’t recommend it highly enough. If my husband could have liked the bowl he would have. The special was burnt ends, my mom’s favorite treat and they did not disappoint. The gumbo was delicious and a credit to the restaurant’s Cajun influence. Finally we couldn’t pass up another order of the hush puppies and a bowl of the Brunswick stew. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. Unlike many local preparations it did not just taste like sweet bbq sauce but a much more complex flavor profile with a touch of heat. So far, 2 for 2 and looking forward to trying even more items on our next visit."
