"I live 20 minutes away and visit every time I go to Red Top but sometimes make the drive anyway just for the food. I benchmark every barbecue place we eat at against Ferleys and nowhere has lived up. By far the best barbecue I've ever had."

"Not the best barbecue but very good food. We came for the macaroni and cheese which was pretty good. It has good flavors- not as cheesy as I would like, but it's creamy and the choice of macaroni has a good texture, very flavorful sauce. We also ordered the chili dog special which was two beef hot dogs with chili and we added onions tasted really good for chili dog sake. The main attraction was the brisket it had a nice smoke ring but not Smokey in flavor-- although the bark was nice and it was seasoned well. Overall great experience as a customer and I will bring my family back when in the area!"

"Came here specifically for the nachos and I was a bit disappointed. I ordered them without jalapeños and scallions since I don't like veggies but the chips and cheese were like the ones they serve at the movies, I wasn't expecting that at all. The meat was pretty decent. My kids got mac, mash potatoes and a hot dog, they weren't too bad but the mac n cheese was our favorite. Wish they had inside seating but that was my fault for not paying attention before coming here lol"

"This is a small, unassuming roadside joint that is sure to satisfy your BBQ craving! We stopped on our way home from Red Top and tried the Brisket Sandwich and the Mac n Cheese. The brisket sandwich was very good, as the meat was full of flavor and tender! And the spicy bbq sauce added just enough kick. The mac n cheese was a bit different. It tasted a little sweet, like they mixed bbq sauce in with it possibly. We'd definitely go back to try more of the bbq options! Update: We went back to get another brisket sandwich and it was once again VERY good! This time we tried the greens, they were also very good, with just the right amount of heat."
