"I remember when this opened years ago and how they used to have ppl lined up waiting outside...... No more and i know why. This place has gone down to horrid. Came 3 different nights to make sure it wasn't just an off night.....nope!!!! Staff is ridiculously unaware of how to work hospitality or even their own menu and duties. Staff is more interested in socializing together in back than working. Only redemption is still great cheese dip, otherwise........ go elsewhere for better drinks, food, and service."

"This was hands down the most flavorful and tender steak, chicken, shrimp with rice and cheese sauce I have ever, and I mean ever had at any Mexican restaurant I had ever eaten at. I highly recommend you try this one! It was so rich and filling that I couldn't finish half of it! I paired it with a small and typical margarita over ice with a salted rim."

"Good Mexican good. Fast service, fresh chips, salsa with a tiny kick, perfect queso. I had a quesadilla with chicken, spinach and mushrooms-not much cheese but it was fresh tasting. I got a small guacamole salad which was amazing! My daughter got a rice bowl with meat and cheese on it, she felt like it didn’t have enough cheese but our server brought another small bowl right away to add to it and keep our waters filled and checked on us attentively. The decor is beautiful and clean. The parking at El Jinete is a healthy lot. It’s next to Movie Tavern behind Dunkin Donuts on the coned of Sandy Plains and 92. The menu was huge-lots of choices! Definitely need to go back and try classic fare!"
