"9/14/23 - Very good southern cooking. Seasoned just right, I got the bbg chicken (white meat) w/cabbage & mashed potatoes and my husband got bbq chicken (white meat) yams & collards. The chicken fell of the bone and sides were great. Good portions of everything! We got it to go around 1:30pm. Very reasonable - $13.25 and came w/cornbread. Will be back!!!"

"I’ve been here a couple times after swinging by on work trips. It’s as real as it gets in terms of soul food— the genuine ambiance, southern hospitality from the front lady, and the homestyle quality of all the food. Highly recommend the fried chicken, oxtail, and sweet tea. Very reasonable prices too. Definitely made it onto my list of local staple spots."

"This was my 1st time in this restaurant and I loved it.. I've found me a new kitchen to eat from‼️‼️ I had the catfish dinner thst was cooked to order so it was hot and delicious. I had cabbage, cornbread, mac n cheese and candied yams on my plate. It was only 15$ and I couldn't believe the price...I would have paid 20$+ for that meal. I will ne back."
