Steak 'n Shake

"Steak 'n Shake food is great when hot and fresh, but withers quickly. The shoe string fries only have about 15 to 20 minutes before I just have to toss them away. Truly fast food in every way. The server was polite and friendly. Don't get me wrong, I like Steak 'n Shake but it's to be fresh."

"Don’t waste your time or money we stopped here because we were on that side of town & it’s not 1 in my area I didn’t check the order before leaving once we noticed the food was wrong we were 30 miles away I called back asked for a manager explained what happed & that i had a receipt. He asked me to come back and bring the food so they can replace it That was not going to happen he then placed a guy Sam on the phone and said he was the owner and he would only replace the order if I bring it back, if I’m gonna drive 30 miles for a $5 meal I can put that gas money to a new meal which I had to do anyway when I asked him for corporates info he said he didn’t know it & I can look it up on google some owner to not know the info *Read the reviews I will never spend my hard earned money at this location again*"

"If I could rate this a 0 I would. This is NOT the first or second time we have had an issue with this location. On this particular night I got in line at 10:10pm. When ordering my food they state they do not have any Sweet Tea (meaning they did not want to make any for the customers). On top of that I asked to add bacon on all my sandwiches which came to be $2 PER sandwich. That is the bacon that was placed on my sandwiches. Then when I paid for my food my receipt is not itemized with my items on there as if I am being overcharged. I am glad I asked because when I looked at my receipt she overcharged me for the Garlic steak burger. So because they are out of tea due to them not wanting to make any they charged me separately for the burger and fries (which is 3 bucks higher than the meal). Instead of maybe accommodating me. Also when I asked if there was bacon on the burgers she asked the person that was making the burgers if there was bacon and he stated yes. I said "Ok I have had 2 other bad experiences and I really do not want to get home with no bacon". So something told me to look and the pictures you see are of the bacon they placed on my burgers. When getting them home (down the street) I noticed how cold my food was. I am LIVID!!!! I am in need of someone from corporate to give me a call or email me. Thanks"
