"Just picked up a to go order of a fish and shrimp dinner with 2 sides at Captain Ds. Not sure what is going on with the breading but it is crispy on the outside and somewhat soggy in the inside. Also the fish is off color, kind of gray, and there was NO SHRIMP!!!!!!!"

"My husband and I went to captain D’s for dinner. Upon walking into the restaurant we could tell it was renovated. We were greeted with a smiling face and received prompt service. The new GM Ali came out and brought us our meal, which was very fresh and hot and might I add very delicious. He was very pleasant and doesn’t mind working with his employees. We will recommend this restaurant 100 percent. It felt like we were at a restaurant and not a fast food restaurant. Thank you Ali and the employees for this wonderful experience. I"

"I ordered the fish and chicken combo meal with two sides (fries/broccoli). Price was decent for the amount of food provided. The chicken was good; lightly breaded and tender. The fish.....not so much. About 1/3 of each fish strip was dry and kinda tough like it'd been there a while. The broccoli and fries were good as well as the hush puppies. I had to sit for a while in the drive thru because the people in front of me had maybe 3 bags worth of food. My order was ready almost immediately after paying. The young woman at the window was friendly and efficient. The food was a good temperature as well. All told, it wasn't a bad experience but could be better. The food wasn't especially greasy, which was a nice surprise as most fast food seafood places are. I'll probably give it another go here sometime."

"Food and service were good. Broccoli was not buttered but not over cooked either. Cole slaw was good not soupy from excess mayo. Sweet tea was not very sweet."

"Wow! That’s what my first thought was when I visited this location tonight. I was expecting the usual mediocre fish that I’m used to but I was blown away. The service was much faster than usual. I’m thinking this is under new ownership. Whatever this change is, I am glad. Then I get home to eat my tasty meal and was really excited to find actual crispy fries. The soggy flaccid fries were not there at all. These were cooked to perfection and delicious. The fish wasn’t soggy either. Nice crisp fish on a bed of, you guessed it, the crunchy stuff! Yes! Cole slaw was actually edible and fresh. I was very pleased with my meal and will be going back for more. Let’s hope this change is here for good."
