"We loved the falls. The trail and stairs to the middle of the falls is definitely rough if your not used to that type of activity but sooooo worth the view obce you get there. Highly recommend sticking it out to the top. Stunning views all around."
"Great hiking trails that leads up to this beautiful location with relaxing sounds of the waterfall and peaceful views."
"We went there on January 2, and the weather was cloudy. Still, we had fun and very impressive climb up to the top."
"Amicalola falls is truly one of the 7 natural wonders of GA. I would recommend walking up from the reflection pool for the best views. The western approach is the easiest but parking is limited. I would personally Raye the hike as easy because it's paved but on average it would be rated as moderate. Most of the path is paved or else it's wooden stairs. 5$ to enter the park and it's well worth it. Make sure to check out the top of the falls and the view behind the lodge/resurante as well. We didn't stay at the lodge or eat at the restaurant but they both looked worth it. I only wish this place wasn't so commercialized and busy but I did go on memorial day so there's that. Remember there are many steps at the top of the trail so it can be very strenuous. Make sure you know your limits before proceeding but there are many benches to stop at along the way. I saw all ages and abilities on the trail so it is doable. Especially the western approach which is ADA accessible. If you can't hike, I recommend going to the top which is a short walk."
"I hiked "Hike Inn Trail". It was a nice moderate to easy hike. Went 20 min / mile pace with ease. Rolling trails. A few benches along the way. A couple little bridges. One good view at a clearing at the beginning. Horse flies were really coming at me. Walking faster or running seems to only increase their aggressiveness - you need to stop and swat them or they keep chasing you. Other than that - nice peaceful enjoyable hike."
