"Enjoyed our stay at Amicalola Lodge. The staff is great- very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice- clean and updated. The views are spectacular from around the lodge. We enjoyed our breakfast in the restaurant before heading out for a hike to the falls. All in all a great location and experience. I recommend it and we'll be back when we can. Can't beat the location!"
"Amazing views. Comfortable beds. Great lobby. Highly recommend. They do have 5000 decibel toilets though so if you flush, you will wake up the entire hotel and local bears. Also, stay out of the restaurant. Thank me later."
"A must-see any time of the year! The falls and surrounding area are just gorgeous, the lodge and adjacent activities are fun and affordable, and the newly renovated facilities are top-notch. Amicalola Falls and State Park will always hold a special place in my heart and couldn't come with any stronger recommendation from me for all to see and experience."
"This is a great getaway spot, at the heart of the beautiful Amnicola State Park there are great hikes steps away. Relax with a drink around the common fire pit, meet new people of enjoy a quiet moment. We will definitely be back. As in most lodges, staff are hard to come by and it’s often short in the restaurant, but everyone did their best to be attentive and provide great service."
"It says “luxury” accommodations but let’s be perfectly honest here… it’s disgusting and outdated. The views are spectacular and with some love that Lodge could really be luxury but at its current state it’s not! Our heater filled our room with a burning plastic smell. The shower had rust and mildew. They literally just cut holes into the sheet rock for various things and haven’t finished it. It’s appalling for the price they are charging. Expect Motel 8 service and cleanliness. Loved the hiker community which made the trip worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying in the Lodge unless you don’t mind sleeping on stained pillows and walking on dirty carpets and dealing with salty, overworked staff. The restaurant serves the same food every day that’s completely overpriced and if you’re vegan…. Bring backup food!!! The host one morning literally rolled her eyes as my elderly mother said, “good morning!” Will not be back for that and the only other food option is 20 minutes away. Plan accordingly."
