"Be careful driving in the landscape area at this location - ran over a chunk of board with a nail sticking out, punctured our tire and chipped the paint around the wheel well. Luckily the nearby Walmart Auto was still open or would have had to get a tow or catch a ride home. Not my most costly bad experience at this Home Depot but definitely in the top 3."

"What a mess‼️. I ordered a refrigerator. When my refrigerator was delivered it was the wrong one. The people that delivered my item were like bulls in a China shop. Knocked over a fragile church pew on my porch as well as a plant. The delivery person proceeded to try to berate I did say TRY. Anyway, Things just got worse. I won’t bore you with the details. I understand there are a lot of terrible problems in our world …. With that said I’m blessed to have a home for the refrigerator to be placed. Nate , the appliance manager did take good care of me once I went to the store. My/ our appliance is supposed to delivered tomorrow. Martha"

"I just had to share the absolute next level customer service I received this evening at The Home Depot, Dawsonville. I was looking for an item that was out of stock and the assistant manager called me (he didn’t have my information, he scoured through their caller ID to find my name and number) after we spoke when they received the item in store. I will go out of my way to shop at this location. So grateful!"

"Wow! What amazing customer service. Wendy who was my cashier at the customer service counter was so helpful, patient with me and friendly while I had questions on a gift card I was using in making a purchase. I also would like to say Randy who was working that day out front saw my purchase as I was walking out to the parking lot and let me know some valuable info on the Rigid Planer I just purchased and then helped me to load it into my car. That’s 2 employees in one shopping trip that were super helpful and friendly!Just want to say thank you for making my shopping experience at this Home Depot a great one!"

"I spend a lot of money in this store and for the most part find the employees helpful and the store cleaned and stocked however this morning I met up with a very rude employee and for the first time lost my temper. I returned to the store as I forgot to get my military discount on a prior order. I brought my receipt and explained what happened. Right from the start this woman had an attitude, didn’t know how to refund the original receipt so she could rering and apply the discount and was just plain old rude. She was expecting me to remember how many linear ft of wood I had purchased even though it shows on the receipt and basically shoved that receipt in my face.After listening to how she has already worked 6 hours blah blah I finally lost it and told her I did not appreciate her being rude. She commented it was all in my “ perception” and walked away. Fortunately another sweet lady came and finished the transaction so I could leave. Thank you to the kind woman who knew her job and to the brown haired woman who can’t work 6 hours without being a rude customer service rep, I hope your supervisor sees this. If I wasn’t so sick I would have asked to see the store manager!!! So much for trying to save a little bit in retirement with my Military discount."
