"Roadside Falls best in winter spring when rain has falken"
"The trip out here is a long slow (15mph) gravel road through mountain side. It is traversable by any size vehicle and road isn’t too narrow, but still need to pull off if you’re passing someone. We saw a good amount of other vehicles on the way. There is zero hike to the fall. You get out of the car and you’re there. Still had cell service the entire time. The stairs to the top of the fall are blocked by a large boulder you have to climb over and the foliage is not maintained. It’s a small fall and very shallow creek like flow. Very quiet spot. We encountered lots of people on bicycles."
"Easy enough to get to just be willing to drive all the way up to see more stuff"
"The road up here is mostly unpaved but we made it in our minivan. It is closed from January through March 1 though! The overlook and picnic area is right next to the small falls which is really pretty. No restrooms available here."
"Absolutely beautiful place to spend the day. Picnic tables, and a really fun twisty road that my tiny Toyota Prius loved. Also enjoyed conasauga lake, mills creek overlook, cohutta overlook, and all the many turn off points/ trailheads along the way to camp at and reflect in this serene magical land. Highly suggest exploring all these areas and hiking the trails, for the rest of your life, never going back to stationary houses ever again."
