"Lower falls was gorgeous; water was cold and the trail was mostly shaded. You will cross the stream multiple times and your shoe will get wet."

"This is always one of our favorite hikes. Make sure you wear water shoes because it has lots of creek crossing. We have hikes to the upper falls in the past however, the lower is more pretty."

"Great place to hike, swim or just picnic. Very off the beating path. Multiple swimming spots. However be warned if you are here to hike you WILL get your feet wet. The trail crosses the creek multiple times and there's no dry way across. You have to cross mostly ankle deep cold mountain streams. Perhaps the only time I would avoid this trail is the dead of winter. The water is very refreshing in hot to mild weather. I would absolutely avoid bringing your dog here as there is multiple large boulders to cross and lots of sharp rocks at the beginning of the trail. Hands down the best trail that I've been to in Georgia."
