Northbank Day Use Area

"I met some friends at the park and we had a lovely time. We had a picnic and walked around the park and then drove to the 2 over looks. The nature center was closed so I cannot provide any comments on it."

"The entire Carter's Dam and Lake area was the best part of my 3-day birthday trip. The lake was so beautiful and the Northbank Park gave the best views of both the lake and the dam. The two overlook areas near the Nature Center had nice views as well. The clerk at the Nature Center could have shown a little professionalism. He never addressed me as I came in because he was sleeping on the desk with his phone audio loud blasting a football game. The Northbank Park has a basketball court, a few covered pavilions, a volleyball net, a paved sidewalk that goes around the perimeter of the park and several overlook areas where you can view the lake and the dam better."

"I love it up here. A 1 mile, paved walking track, lots of benches and pavilions, playground, basketball court and open field to run on. Fantastic view from all sides of this plateau in the other side of the top of the dam."
