Reviews of Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area
"No restrooms good hike theres 2 caves for cave dwellers"
"We took a drive on a beautiful sunny day in February and landed at the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain WMA. The drive up on Rocky Ln. is steep and narrow at times but the views off the front of the ridge are really breathtaking. We drove back to the Sawmill Lake Campsite and found the Atwood Trail. Once you pull into the camp area there is a dirt road on the right where you can pick up the trail. Trail was covered up by leaves and hadn’t been maintained in months. But it was still pleasant and nice to be outside. Not much to see on that portion of trail. I’m sure there are better options. We will be back to explore more."
"This is a beautiful area to hike and explore. It probably has alot of hunting opportunities during the proper seasons. There are primitive camping spots available, but no water or bathrooms."
"This is an awesome WMA. Rope Climbing, bouldering, trails, caves, campsites. It’s such a beautiful spot. Less than two hours from Atlanta!"
"Had a great time with the family here @ Crockford-Pigeon . Campsites , trails , rock climbing, fishing , hunting ."
