"I went to the St Charles branch of Capitalone and experience the most rude, unprofessional folks i could have ever met. No assistance with transacting banking business for senior citizens. no compassion no empathy what so ever. banks have made everything so electronic that they fail to keep in mind every body is not experience with computer and cannot transact business on the computer. we have become so deattached to the sensitivity of people it is very scary. i tried finding the email address for the ceo richard fairbank to express my dissatification with his bank, they don't even have phone numbers listed for customers to call with their concerns at the corporate office or an email address to send your complaints. This is what society has come to "dehumanize."
"I personally have an account and so does my company. To the teller in working the commercial spot #11 with white clear glasses on 3/17 at 2:00pm you should seriously find a new place to work. This was by far the RUDEST and most horrible treatment I've ever experienced with a bank before. I won't return and I've spoken to my boss today about what happened. I am happy to say that we are working to close our account immediately and will choose another bank nearby. Unacceptable."
"CAPITOL ONE IS SLOWLY BECOMING A TERRIBLE BANK TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I WENT TO CASH IN MY CHANGE AND FOUND OUT THE CHALMETTE BRANCH DOES NOT HAVE A COIN COUNTER. THEY SAID THEY CANNOT ACCEPT IT WITHOUT BEING ROLLED UP. I HAVE IT IN SEPERATE ZIP LOCK BAGS WITH THE AMOUNT ON EACH. THEY DID GIVE ME SOME ROLLS TO PUT THEM IN. I CALLED THE MAIN BRANCH TO FIND OUT WHICH CAPITOL ONE HAD A COIN MACHINE. I WAS INFORMED NONE OF THE BRANCHES HAVE A COUNTER. HOW DO THEY HANDLE BUSINESSES WHO DEPOSIT CHANGE? EVEN IF I ROLL IT UP, HOW CAN THEY BE SURE I AM NOT SHORTING THEM. YEAH I KNOW THEY CAN WEIGHT IT, BUT IF YOU USE THAT EXCUSE YOU CAN WEIGHT MY SEPERATED ZIP LOCK BAGS AS WELL WITH THE AMOUNTS ON THE BAG. YEAH I KNOW I CAN GO TO A MACHINE AT WALMART, BUT SHOULD I HAVE TO GIVE THEM 10% OF THE AMOUNT. WHEN THE CHALMETTE ST BERNARD HWY BRANCH WAS CLOSING I ASKED THE COUNCIL TO STOP IT. I ASKED ABOUT MORE ATM'S VERSUS THE ONE ON JUDGE PEREZ. WELL THEY CLOSED THE BRANCH AND PUT THREE MORE ATM'S AT THE JUDGE PEREZ OFFICE. NOW THIS BANK IS THE ONLY ONE IN THE ENTIRE PARISH. WELL, NOW YOU, CAPITOL ONE KNOW WHAT I THINK OF YOUR COIN SITUATION."
"If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the worst bank I've ever been to. I just moved to town and bank with Bank of America but there are no branches here. So I decided to give Capital One a try. We got there and signed in and waited at least 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we were there. During the set up process, they asked to see our proof of residence and my employment history. The lease to my apartment wasn't good enough for them and I'm a stay at home partner. I've never had a bank ask for my employment. To make matters worse, the jerk who was taking care of us, Michael, started blabbing about how they needed to have this information because of the Patriot Act! I have gotten all of my bank accounts long after the act was enforced. They just want people to push credit card offers too and if you don't fit into a money mogul role, they won't work with you. I am going to Chase today and get an account. They were so rude that I left the bank crying. These people are a joke."
"I went to this branch to withdraw money from a corporate account. They treated me like I was some theif because they failed to fill the paperwork (that was signed at the bank) into the system. Any business that will treat another businessman with contempt for something that is their fault is inexcusable. When I asked for a followup investigation into how this happened, they said "sometimes papers get misfiled". I'm sorry but if you can't keep track of who is allowed to withdraw money from an account, you shouldn't be a bank."
