"My Mom needed a threshold transition from a hardwood floor in a hallway into a tiled bathroom floor. The tile is about 1/2" higher. There just aren't many providers for such a single item in this area, but I found my way to RC Moore Doors and More. I left the office with a couple sample scrap pieces to try to make work because, being very knowledgable about exactly what we needed, and after scouring the shop floor and inventory to search for it, they didn't have the exact item. The samples they gave me proved not to work. Ty promised to find the right threshold and bring it to my Mom for me to install on my next visit. I thanked him and left. Fifteen minutes later he knocked on Mom's door with a tape measure in hand. He measured and remeasured and made no less than 1/2 dozen trips back and forth from their shop to her home, fashioning a custom threshold from some other trim pieces they had in the shop. The finished product has an almost perfect finish to match the hardwood and he and his team even predrilled some nail holes and provided finish nails to complete the installation. My Mom doesn't get out too much, it's hard to find anyone to do such little projects, and I don't get to visit too often. As such, accomplishing little repair tasks like this while I'm visiting is often critical. 5 STARS and a big tip of the cap to Ty Moore and RC Moore Doors and More for going above and beyond!
