"Best doctor for children by far. If you ask a question, be prepared for a honest answer. I would recommend him to anyone with kids. Especially kids with special needs."
"I really like Dr. Goliath and Noel, the Nurse practitioner. However, the office staff are a nightmare to deal with. Every visit for the past year has been unpleasant. They are rude and inconsiderate and have been on multiple occasions: 1) I was stuck behind a train and called to tell them I may be a few minutes late. They told me if I was more than 10 minutes late to not bother coming at all 2) My daughter was sick the morning of her well child visit. I called to reschedule and they told me I'd have to wait 3 months. I asked if we could see Noel to get in quicker and I was told that "patients don't get to pick and choose which doctor they see here." 3) I requested and called three times to get the necessary paperwork for my daughter to start pre-k, I was lied to every time I called. I eventually talked to the NP about it and she took care of sending it. The girls out front told me on three separate occasions that they had mailed it to me, I never did receive it. They ended up faxing it to the school when my daughter was going to be disenrolled. 4) My husband took our daughter for her well child visit at 9:45am, Appt time at 10:00. He told the lady at the front desk that he needed to be out of there by 11:00 due to his schedule. Her first response was "when do you want to reschedule for?" No discussion as to whether it was reasonable or if it could be done, just went straight to rescheduling. My husband walked out. He rearranged his schedule and took our daughter out of pre-k, all to be told to reschedule. This was the last straw for us. I did call and talk to Dr Goliath but he stood by his staff. I told him we really liked him but his staff made it too unpleasant to continue coming there. They lie to us and they lie to him and it's not worth the stress.. We are switching to Dr Robinson. She was able to get my daughter's both scheduled within 24 hours for their well child visits. So far, it has been a completely different experience working with her staff."
"Chose Dr. Goliath as my pediatrician when I had my first daughter 12 years ago. He is absolutely an amazing doctor. When she was a baby, he never got annoyed with all of the first Mommy calls and often times, would call back to check on her. Every time she has ever been hospitalized, he checks on her every single day, sometimes twice a day. His nurse practitioner is even better. She saved my daughters life by finding a swollen spleen when Womens and children's ER missed it. So when I had my son 9 and a half years later, it was him who saw him first. I'm not sure what the other parent was talking about. Dr. Goliath would never allow his staff to shame new mothers. He goes above and beyond for his patients and you don't find doctors like him anymore. Hands down the best pediatrician in the State of West Virginia."
