"If I could give 0 stars I would. I wish I read more reviews before I chose to get insurance through this company, because Im starting to believe its not even an actually insurance company; its some kind of scam. I filed a claim on April 7, 2023, due to flooding in my business. I talked to a claims adjustor literally ONE TIME a week after I filed, and he literally ghosted me after that. He would not respond to any calls or emails, and after being told to contact his manager, and someone else who was covering for his manager, they didn't respond or contact me back either. This is not a customer complaining because someone didn't call me back the next day; it is now JUNE 7, 3 whole months after I filed the claim bc my business FLOODED, lost office furniture, equipment, and inventory due to the damages and I have made NO progress whatsoever with my claim! They won't even call me back! Who takes your money every month for 3 years then won't call you back when you need help..? sounds like SCAM to me!"

"A 1 star rating for Hiscox is far more than they deserve. I closed a business over a year ago and attempted on 4 different occasions to cancel the policy. I was told each time the policy was canceled only to be billed each time again on my credit card. The company sent a cancellation notice but still continued to charge my credit card after the cancellation date. I am frustrated with Hiscox and Capital One because these leeches have been allowed to charge my card even after the cancellation date of the policy. My recommendation to anyone considering Hiscox as an insurance provider, don't walk but run from this insurance company. Once they have your credit card information, they will not stop billing it!!!!!!!"

"If I could give Hiscox a 0 star I would!!!! DO NOT GET INSURANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! I own a business which got $4,000 worth of equipment stolen from me over 2 weeks ago and have filed a claim with Hiscox. I pay this company monthly for business insurance and I don't know why because it has been over 2 weeks of me calling in to speak with someone regarding my claim and the next steps to getting help or reimbursed for the equipment that was stolen and no one will call me back. They are worthless. They do not care about you or your business and you will end up paying them for nothing!!!!!! Please do not give this company a dime of your money. Go with next insurance or even go without insurance because this is what I feel like I have. 0 Insurance after I pay $100 a month for nothing!!!!"
