MILSTEAD PARK

"The park is small and nice. Tucked back in a small historic neighborhood. I went there for the splash pad, even called to ask if it was on only to get there and be disappointed that it was “under maintenance “. Great for small kids and a good place for a party. Only a few places to sit but overall quaint."

"Cute pocket park nestled in historic Milstead. Park has a small covered pavilion with a grill, a public gender neutral restroom, a splash pad, swings, a playground, and a small walking loop with an adult fitness area. A few negatives: the trash was overflowing, and the playground area had visible litter (water bottles, swim diapers, and food wrappers), and parking is sparse. There are only a handful of spaces (maybe six including one or two disabled spots?)."

"No more splash pad. New slide set and shaded benches. It’s a regular park now. Maybe the splash pad will be back in the future. Definitely not worth passing up all the other parks to get to this one right now. Tip: bring toilet paper if you plan to use the restroom (I advise against it if possible)"

"Great place. Never crowded. Always very clean and the restroom is always clean too. The splash pad is wonderful and my son really enjoys it. There is a mini exercise station also and a spacious grass area for playing or sports play. I'm giving only four stars because the slide is entirely too hot during summer. The kids today couldn't even slide because it was burning their legs. Just a suggestion to add shading for the playground area so it's usable all of the time instead of just cooler months."
